This little guy really packs a punch! The Toshiba 15LV505 comes with a 15.6 inch screen, but don’t let the number fool you.  It’s a TFT LCD display that comes with high-definition programming.  With 720p resolution, at 1366 x 768, it gives you a crystal clear picture.  The screen also features a 170 degree horizontal viewing angle which gives you a clear viewing angle from the side and a 150 degree vertical viewing angle.

The great thing about this model is that with its convenient size and coming in at a mere 7.7 pounds, it can be placed virtually anywhere.  That means it can be located in areas such as a kitchen or a desk, especially in a dorm room, without taking over the area.  If you wanted you could even take it from room to room.  It provides almost any spot of the house with an all-inclusive entertainment experience.

This Toshiba 15LV505 is an all-in-one LCD model that comes with a built-in, slot-loading DVD player.  The player is compatible with any standard CD or DVD discs, as well as DVD-R/RW and CD-R/RW media.  It also has the ability to play MP3 files that have been burned onto discs.

A great bonus is a mode called the “cinema mode”.  This allows the viewer to witness their DVDs played back in a brilliant picture quality.  Other standard features include digital picture zoom, fast scan, slow motion, and multi-camera angle selection.

But one fascinating point about this model that will impress you is the sound.  It comes from stereo speakers mounted on the bottom.  They come with bass and treble controls and can be hooked to external receivers to give you Dolby digital and DTS surround sound output.  This gives you a feeling of a multi-channel audio experience with audio performance that comes across as being three-dimensional.  That is the same quality that you would hear in a movie theater.  You can also play back high-resolution DVDs that are DTS multi-channel encoded.  Simply connect a receiver/decoder that is DTS compatible to the T.V using its digital audio output.

Look for the Toshiba 15LV505 and see what all the hype is about.  You’ll find its appearance to be misleading as it gives you the quality and performance of a unit much larger.
